Mobile Technology for Healthcare

I read an interesting article about Mobile Technology for Healthcare, showing the importance of mobiles in connecting people easily on these days. In my opinion the mobile will help a lot of patients, monitoring, using dedicated softwares for that. Some diseases have to be monitored by the doctor day by day or needs to be one time per week, month or year. For that the patient has to do new examinations and a new interview about the treatment (the doctor wants to know if the patient is doing everything correct). The mobile softwares can help the doctor and the patient to monitor some actions, habits and simple exams (pressure, weight, heartbeat and others), only inputing this values or results on the software and then sending to the doctor, generating a report showing the patient progression or not.

My father and my mother are doctors, so i asked them, what they think about it. My father is a Dermatologist doctor, and for him it would be nice to monitor some specific diseases, because most of the diseases he treats are very simple cases, so its not necessary a high level monitoring. My mother is a Hematologist, for her a mobile application would be great to monitor leukemia and anemia patients, because a part of treatment consist in a specific diet and simple examinations day by day, so it would be great if she can have these informations very fast by the patient all the time.

It would be great if the Mobile Technology continues to invest on this area, because it will help a lot in some diseases treatment. We hope so.
